And the Journey Begins!

Time to Rise and Shine and take the 1st steps on the trail! Load up on carbs for the walk across the Pyrenees mountain range from St. Jean, France to Roncesvalles, Spain.

Walked about 7 hours, most of the day was a steady incline... started at 174m (~574') and ended at 923m (~3028'). Paused to enjoy the sights and take a breath after the climb.

Continue to meet people from all over the world: Sweden, Netherlands, Romania, Germany, Austria, Canada, and a nice couple from South Korea who showed me the mini heart symbol!
